Bugsy Malone
The musical comedy production of Bugsy Malone follows the rivalry between two half-witted street gangs - a time of flapper girls, gangsters and their molls. Bugsy, a washed up boxer, steps in to help Fat Sam's gang and give Dandy Dan and his boys what they've got coming.

LSM Vocal Group
Congratulations to the St Mary's Vocal Group who won the Penwortham Trophy at the Youth Music Festival this week. The choir perfomed Kyrie Eleison and Run by Snow Patrol to win a place in the final which takes place at the Guild Hall in April.
A special mention goes to Victoria Illsley who also won the solo singing competition with her rendition of Panis Angelicus.
Congratulations to the January Pupils of the Month who were awarded their certificates and Sticker Points recently. These awards are determined by Form Tutors every month for those pupils who are making an outstanding contribution to the life of the school. The successful pupils are also treated to tea and biscuits in the Headteacher's office at break time. We look forward to the February awards.
